Dare to Dream Competitions Ltd - House Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1 These Dare to Dream House Prize Draw Terms (the Terms) set out the terms on which you can enter the Dare to Dream House Prize Draw to win a House (the Prize Draw).
1.2 The Prize Draw is a free prize draw and is neither a lottery nor any other form of gambling as set out in the Gambling Act 2005.
2. The Promoter
2.1 The promoter of the Dare to Dream House Prize Draw (the Prize Draw) is Dare to Dream Competitions Ltd., , a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16616225 and a registered address at 59 Queen Street, Morley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS27 8EB (the Promoter).
3. How to enter
3.1 The Prize Draw will run from 9:00am on 14/10/2025 to 7:00pm on 14/04/2026 inclusive.
3.2 The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. Multiple entries per person are permitted.
3.3 To enter the prize draw you can either:
(a) Enter for free by first class post that includes the following details:
(i) Full name;
(ii) Home address;
(iii) Email address;
(iv) Phone number;
(v) Prize Draw cottage giveaway
(vi) Clear signature and date.
(b) Purchase one or more entries on our website at [INSERT EMAIL ADDRESS] (the Website).
3.4 Postal entries must be received by 5:00pm on the Closing Date and you will not receive entries into the Prize Draw for any postal entries received by the Promoter after 5:00pm on the Closing Date.
3.5 You will not be able to purchase any entries on the Website after 5:00pm on the Closing Date.
3.6 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to delayed post, postal strike, technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
3.7 You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms upon entering the Prize Draw. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these Terms.
3.8 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
3.9 All individual entries, whether by post or purchased on our Website, have an equal chance of winning the Prize Draw.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The Prize Draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over who are legally permitted to own freehold property in the UK, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the Prize Draw, you confirms that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who it reasonably suspects has submitted an entry that is incomplete, false, fraudulent or in breach of these Terms.
5. Prize Details
5.1 The winner will receive ownership of the house described below (the Prize):

(e) Description of features and amenities (garden, parking, shed )

(i) Any restrictions, covenants, or unusual terms applicable to the property; NA
(j) Any costs which the winner must pay - legals and stamp duty covered by promotor
(k) Third-party supplier details if relevant.
(l) Stamp duty payment covered by promotor

5.5 There is only one Prize for this Prize Draw.
5.6 The Prize is supplied by Dare To Dream Competitions. [The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a cash alternative to the value of £125k
5.7 The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.
6. The Winner
6.1 A winner will be chosen by random draw [performed by a computer process OR supervised by an independent person] on 14/04/2026
6.2 The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided to the Promoter) before 15/04/2026 and may be required to verify their identity in order to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
7. Prize Availability and Transfer
7.1 The Prize consists of the freehold property stated in clause 5 (the Property) subject to the conditions set out in this clause 7 and the rest of the Terms.
7.2 The Winner must provide all necessary information and documents, including proof of identity and address, required by the Promoter or the Promoter’s solicitors to comply with legal and regulatory requirements for transfer of the Property to the Winner, within 30 days of notification of winning.
7.3 The legal title to the Property will be transferred to the Winner by way of a freehold conveyance, subject to standard terms, conditions and completion procedures under English law. Completion will take place as soon as reasonably practicable following the Winner’s compliance with clause 7.2.
7.4 The Promoter will pay reasonable conveyancing fees, stamp duty land tax (if applicable), and registration fees relating to the transfer of the Property to the Winner. All other costs, expenses, and liabilities relating to the acceptance, use, and maintenance of the Property after the date of completion are the responsibility of the Winner.
7.5 The Property will be transferred to the Winner free of any financial charges, mortgages or encumbrances, but subject to any covenants, restrictions or easements contained in the title register (copies available on request).
7.6 If the Winner is unable or unwilling to complete the legal formalities of the transfer within a reasonable period (up to 90 days from the notification of winning), or is ineligible under applicable law to hold legal title to the Property, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and award it to an alternative eligible winner.
7.7 The prize will be made available to the Winner within 7 days of the winner being notified of their win.
7.8 The Winner agrees to comply with all reasonable requests by the Promoter, and/or the Promoter’s solicitor, to effect the transfer of the legal title to the Property and acknowledges that the Promoter shall be entitled to withdraw the Prize and award it to another eligible entrant if the Winner is found to be legally incapable of holding title to the Property or to have provided materially false information in their entry or in response to such requests by the Promoter.
8. Publishing Prize Draw Details
8.1 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will [publish the surname and county of the Prize Draw winner on its website [INSERT URL ADDRESS] on [DATE] (Announcement Date) OR send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails [EMAIL ADDRESS] or writes to the address set out in clause 2.1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within [one] month after the Closing Date of the competition].
8.2 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter [INSERT CONTACT DETAILS/ LINK TO CONTACT DETAILS]. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
8.3 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
9. Limitation of liability
9.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Data protection and publicity
10.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the [LINK TO PRIVACY POLICY]. See also condition 8 and condition 8.2, with regard to the announcement of winners.
11. General
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.
11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
